Meet Karine Agavelyan: a Bachelor’s degree in English Philology, a CiSELT Proficient certificate and 13 years teaching English in Tashkent and online. One teacher runs every Lingua Mira group and one-to-one programme, so you always know who is responsible for your progress. She works with teens and adults across Uzbekistan and abroad.
Teacher
Karine Agavelyan
Founder and teacher

I teach every Lingua Mira group myself. That is a deliberate choice: knowing each student personally matters more to me than opening a dozen branches. For thirteen years I have been preparing teenagers and adults to live and work in English — in Tashkent and online.
Credentials
- 0113 years of practice with teens and adults in Uzbekistan.
- 02Bachelor's Diploma in English Philology.
- 03Certificate in Secondary English Language Teaching (CiSELT) — Proficient.
- 04Experience in teaching teenagers, adolescents and adults in several language centres and schools.
What I believe
English is not a test or a line on a diploma. It is a door — into a job, into study, into a conversation with someone from another country. My job is not to give you a perfect accent; it is to make sure you walk through that door calmly.
